Three professional skaters at Don Sarto school
Skateboarding will make its Olympic debut at the Tokyo 2020 Games this summer. Flipside Skatepark in Scherpenheuvel organized multiple events last weekend to celebrate skateboarding becoming an official Olympic sport.
Three professional skaters came to Curaçao, including our own Shajen Willems, to teach workshops and give demonstrations in schools, parking lots and at Flipside Skatepark. They are showing kids what you can accomplish in life by skateboarding, falling down and getting back up again. The professional skateboarders are here with their own film crew so that they can show the rest of the world what Curaçao has to offer in the area of skateboarding.
ENNIA is proud to be one of the sponsors of this initiative, which benefits our youth. On Monday morning, students of the Don Sarto School in Soto got to experience an exclusive skateboarding demonstration.
