Former president of Aruba's Central Bank rectifies
Former president of Aruba's Central Bank, Robert Henriquez, has sent a rectification to the management of ENNIA in Aruba, stating that a misunderstanding was published in the newspapers. The rectification reads:
Statements attributed to me were published in the local media in articles relating to the DNB report about ENNIA. I hereby declare that it is incorrect that the insurance premiums of policyholders of ENNIA companies in Aruba, in the amount of 1 billion florins (570 million Euros), have disappeared. To my knowledge no insurance premiums from policyholders of ENNIA companies in Aruba have disappeared. The amount of 1 billion florins relates to the FD news regarding the Antilles and not Aruba. I apologize for any misunderstanding that may have arisen.
