Centrale Bank van Aruba has taken note of articles about ENNIA
The Centrale Bank van Aruba (CBA) has taken note of articles that appeared in the local media, related to ENNIA Aruba, that is under the supervision of the CBA. ENNIA Aruba, part of the ENNIA group has its own investments and capital.
Although CBA, based on its secrecy obligation, cannot give information about ENNIA Aruba, the CBA values to inform the public that it stringently supervises the compliance with the corresponding law- and regulation by the institutions under its supervision.
Based on the applicable supervisory law, the CBA disposes of various instruments that it can engage on the moment that it notes that a supervised institution does not comply with the law- and regulations.
CBA stress that it will use the instruments at its disposal if the situation requires this. All this, always with the objective to guarantee the interests of the policy holders. Considering these instruments there is therefore no reason for intranquility.
