Income insurance

If you (temporarily) lose your income due to disability, then you would like to ensure you maintain the same level of income. This is possible by taking out occupational disability coverage (Income Insurance), which will provide you with a replacement income.

The costs are dependant on 2 factors:

• The type of insurance you choose: standard or combination. With AOV standard, the premium is determined by your age at the time of taking out the insurance and there are no annual premium increases. Combination AOV  provides the same coverage as under the AOV standard policy, however the premium is age related and therefore increases from year to year.
• The amount of the benefit that you choose to insure. This may not exceed 80% of your income.
