Annuity mortgage

With ENNIA's Annuity mortgage you can be certain that your mortgage will be paid off at the end of the mortgage term. You pay a (gross) monthly premium that remains almost the same over the full term so you will not be faced with unpleasant surprises.

Your monthly payment includes interest and principal. During the first years of the mortgage, the payments consist of a relatively small amount of principle while the interest portion is relatively large. As you approach the end of the mortgage, you will be repaying much more of the principal, while paying much less interest. However, the amount mortgage interest that you can deduct from your income taxes decreases steadily over the term of the mortgage.
